Valuation and Capital Gains


At RANKIN we understand that selling your property in another  country is a big step and you may be unsure about the market value or whether you will have to pay any capital gains (“plus value”) in France upon completion.

To help you with these items, we can prepare an up-to-date guide value for your property and a simulation to see if you are concerned by any capital gains charges.  All regions of France are covered, simply complete the questionnaire below along with your payment (50€) and the information will be sent to you by email (please allow 2 working days).

IMPORTANT: Please note that this service provides a guide valuation for French property and a simulation for capital gains.  A Notaire can supply you with an ‘official’ valuation or capital gains summary.  If your property has already been valued  by an agent and unsold for some time – we would strongly recommend an official visit and valuation from a Notaire to verify your property valuation and price of sale displayed. – Go to our Assistance Service >> if you would like us to contact a Notaire for you.

What will I need?

  • Measurements in m² of main rooms, including total habitable /non habitable and land measurements.
  • We can only supply valuations for liveable propertyand not for : buildings to restore unliveable – agricultural land or building land – lakes  – going concerns).
